Chrome Angel Solutions is delighted to congratulate David Wilkinson at Northern, who was recognised at this year’s Northern Lights Awards with the Bright Ideas Award for leading Northern’s industry-first Station Security App.
The Station Simulation, developed by Chrome Angel Solutions in partnership with Northern, uses immersive VR Simulation Serious Games technology to support station colleagues with security training. The application allows users to practise realistic scenarios in a safe and interactive environment on mobile devices, helping to build confidence, improve decision-making and strengthen responses to real-world incidents.
David’s award recognises his leadership and commitment that helped bring this innovative project from concept through to successful rollout. By working closely with operational teams and technology partners, the app has introduced a new approach to learning and development within the rail industry.
