Chrome Angel Solutions was invited by Transport for London (TfL) to deliver an immersive session for graduates, apprentices and interns at TfL’s offices, focused on the use of virtual reality, AI and simulation technologies in rail industry training.
The session was led by Mark Robinson, a former TfL graduate himself, who shared insight into how VR Simulation Serious Games have been developed over the last 7 years to address challenging training needs in rail operations, maintenance, safety and security, and customer experience.
Attendees explored how immersive simulations can support learning for complex, high-risk activities by allowing people to practise realistic scenarios in a safe and repeatable environment. The session also included hands-on demonstrations, giving participants the opportunity to experience CAS’s railway VR simulations.

Discussions covered the role of AI and VR serious games in improving decision-making, consistency of training across a diverse workforce, and reducing risk by enabling continuous learning to take place virtually rather than infrequently on live systems.
Thanks to Transport for London, the Graduate, Apprentice, and Intern Committee, and all attendees for the invitation and the brilliant engagement throughout the session.
