Chrome Angel Solutions Exhibits Station Simulation at GWR Safeguarding Conference

Mark Robinson from Chrome Angel Solutions attended Great Western Railway’s second Safeguarding Conference, held at Reading Town Hall, where rail safety professionals came together under the theme “Our Shared Commitment.”

At the event, CAS exhibited its award-winning Station Simulation developed in partnership with Northern, sharing insights from the recent rollout of the immersive safeguarding training programme. The session provided an opportunity to discuss how virtual reality simulation can support frontline colleagues in recognising vulnerability, responding appropriately to incidents, and building confidence in safeguarding situations.

For Chrome Angel Solutions, the conference was an important opportunity to demonstrate how immersive Serious Games technology can complement safeguarding strategies, helping colleagues in safety and security roles within a rail context practise complex, sensitive scenarios in a safe and realistic environment while reinforcing the shared responsibility to prevent harm before it happens.

The conference brought together GWR colleagues and partner organisations from across the rail industry and beyond to reflect on safeguarding practices and prevention. The event also recognised individuals through Safeguarding Star awards, celebrating everyday dedication to protecting vulnerable people across the railway.

CAS would like to thank GWR and partners for the opportunity to be part of this important industry conversation.
